There are three fantastic categories and four seats of nobility open in the Queen's Court awaiting me ladies!
Become a part of the reborn royal family and have your baby enter the fabulous Baby "Reborn" Pageant. Once you register, you must enter your baby into the three distinct categories. Categories listed below!
The winners will be chosen by public voting! So be sure to tell your family, friends, coworkers and etc. that your baby is a pageant participant and needs your support! Voting is impartial and based on overall percentile votes from all 3 categories. Individuals can vote for four different babies and the three categories for the queen's court!
Being so excited with this being our second, We welcome any feedback and / or suggestions. I will make improvements as it develops. If you have questions, please feel free to email email@example.com.
Voting will began....and ends ...12:00 am (CST).
How many guild or forum contests have you entered or were afraid to enter because it seemed like the same reborners always win with their perfectly beautiful babies? How many times did you start self-judging by thinking that your babies are not good enough or will never be good enough to win? Maybe your rooting or skin tones have been considered average by some standards, but it won't always be. Let's stop feeling so disenchanted; don't we pour our hearts into our babies? It takes lots of practice to perfect these babies. Don't you simply wish that you had the opportunity to display what you have mastered, bringing about your baby's beautiful life-like personality? Don't you enjoy using your highly developed imagination? I do!
# 1. Best Portrait:
Does it get anymore adorable? Close up upper body shot with hands posed; think in terms of a baby's very first "real baby" portrait. The face must be unobstructed. No hats covering the hair. No pacifiers covering the mouth. Keep the background simple, baby pastels best.
#2. Most Stunning:
All eyes are on your baby here! Christening or Dressy best in a full body pose. This is the formal section and a real eye catching view of your baby's beauty and best outfit. Keep your backgrounds clean, white or dark is nice here. By using a blue or black background your baby will jump out at your audience! Show off your baby's beauty to its fullest!
#3. Most Talented "Show":
Every pageant has some form of talent that each candidate has to demonstrate. We are all aware that these are dolls but you really want to work your imagination here! Let your creative juices flow so that her illusion does not give way to looking like one. The sky is the limit! This is the most realistic use of your baby and props. Do not overdo it. You do not want to detract viewers from concentrating on your baby, but in this photograph, she should tell a story. You must include in your information what that talent is.
Remember photographs are judged by the power of the eyes, which stirs the imagination into believability! In all of the categories, your baby is the main focus! Keep it simple, be creative and appropriate to age and style (i.e. open eyes or closed eyes). Sleeping babies do not sit perfectly upright. Keep in line with how a real baby might be sleeping, playing, walking, crawling or watching something, etc. If you know that you would not let a real baby do it, do not let your little darling look as if she is doing it! Dress and pose appropriate to age, as you would expect a real baby to look and appear!
